Tanja Dodd Qualifying as an accredited mediator in 2004 and later as a mediation supervisor, I have a keen interest in helping children adjust to the changes in their families and provide financial, children's and child-inclusive mediation. Over the years I have been involved in making in-court mediation available to clients, been a facilitator on the Court directed Separated Parents Information Programme (SPIP) and deliver workshops on mediation and the adjustment of children in separating families.

While living in Denmark, I worked as a psychologist for LEGO and focused on resolving conflicts within the organisation and staff development. (I hold a bachelor degree in psychology from Warwick University and a masters degree in organisational psychology from Lancaster University.)

My private practice was established in 2010 and as a mediator my approach is practical, pragmatic, empathetic and non-judgemental. I work hard to help you find workable and fair solutions and respect the emotional investment that you need to engage in a mediation process. Although the thought of mediation can seem challenging, the results are well worth the effort, giving clarity and control over the future and a better ability to communicate with an ex partner or spouse.

My professional memberships include the Family Mediation Council, National Family Mediation and Resolution.

Peter Bishop first met Tanja in 2007 when they were both practising as family mediators with Hampshire Family Mediation. Peter comes from a legal background and has worked with Tanja as a co-mediator bringing an alternative perspective to the issues that confront clients.

Peter has had considerable experience dealing with property matters but also take great interest in parents who are facing challenges with their parenting following separation. He believes mediation offers clients a real alternative to the adversarial system operated by the Courts leaving clients with an outcome from which they can move on with their lives for their own benefit and more particularly for the benefit of their children and wider family. He has a particular interest in the management of conflict and regularly delivers the CAFCASS Separated Parents Information Programme in Salisbury and Bournemouth.

Peter has been associated with Tanja's practice since its inception and having now retired remains involved with the practice in a consultant capacity.
